Sports Medicine and Health Science is an international academic journal dedicated to the fields of sports medicine and health science. This journal provides a scientific, merit based, high-quality publishing platform aimed at publishing the latest research findings in the field. The research content of SMHS includes prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries, exercise intervention for chronic diseases, basic biological research related to exercise, physical activity and health, traditional medicine and its impact on health and disease, and many other aspects. The journal is committed to becoming an important academic exchange platform for promoting the development of sports medicine and health science, and providing a stage for global researchers to showcase their research results.

The magazine is jointly sponsored by Chengdu Sport University and the Chinese Society of Sports Science.
